Audit Trails

Every module in FlowQMS includes an Audit Trail tab in the detail view. This provides a complete, tamper-proof history of all changes made to a record.

What the Audit Trail Shows

Column	Description
Field	Which field was changed
Old Value	The previous value (highlighted in red)
New Value	The new value (highlighted in green)
Changed By	Name of the user who made the change
Changed At	Date and time of the change

A value of "---" means the field was empty.

Why Audit Trails Matter

Audit trails are a key requirement of ISO 9001:2015. They provide:

• Traceability — Who changed what, when, and why
• Accountability — Clear records for audits and management reviews
• Compliance — Evidence that records are controlled and changes are traceable
• Investigation support — Useful when investigating issues or nonconformities
