Notifications

FlowQMS keeps you informed about important events through an in-app notification system.

Notification Bell

The notification bell icon is located in the header bar (top right). When you have unread notifications:

• A red badge appears on the bell icon showing the unread count
• If you have more than 99 unread notifications, it shows "99+"

Viewing Notifications

1. Click the bell icon to open the notification dropdown
2. The dropdown shows your 15 most recent notifications
3. Each notification shows:
   • Unread indicator — Blue dot for unread notifications
   • Title — Summary of the event (e.g., "NCR-001 assigned to you")
   • Body — Brief description
   • Time — How long ago (e.g., "5m ago", "1h ago", "2d ago")

Actions

• Click a notification to mark it as read and navigate to the related record
• Mark All as Read — Button at the top of the dropdown to mark all notifications as read
• View All — Link to the full notification settings page

Real-Time Updates

Notifications are delivered in real time — you do not need to refresh the page. When a new notification arrives:

• The bell icon badge count updates immediately
• The notification appears at the top of the dropdown
